We use Paypal as our trusted payment gateway for all card transactions to ensure the safety and security of your payments. Your payment details are securely encrypted and processed through PayPal, your banking details are not visible to us or recorded, no card information is stored on our website.
What is a Payment Gateway? A payment gateway acts as a digital cashier for online stores, serving as the intermediary (or middleman) between the store and your bank. It allows businesses to accept a range of electronic payments, including credit and debit cards. This gateway encrypts sensitive information, verifies the transaction, and ensures that funds are securely transferred from the customer’s account to the merchant’s account.
NOTE: When paying by Debit or Credit Card, the word ‘PayPal’ or similar will appear beside the transaction on your bank statement.
Warranties
Hak Fabrication warranty period is 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated. We recommend you retain your receipt, as we may require proof that you purchased the product from us.
Hak products are designed and manufactured for race car use only. If your product becomes defective during the warranty period, we will repair, replace, or refund where a product is faulty; or not fit for intended purpose.
Warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the part and shall not exceed the original purchase price of the goods.
This warranty will not cover transit damage, incorrect fitment or use of the product, modified product, misuse or abuse of the product contrary to user instructions or packaging label; change of mind and normal wear and tear.
If any defect in materials or workmanship in product sold by Hak Fabrication is identified and notified to us within the warranty period then we will, at our discretion repair or replace the product. Hak Fabrication does not accept any liability beyond this for consequential loss. Warranty is subject to us being satisfied that a defect was not caused by, or was not substantially contributed to by, other factors beyond our control, including (but not limited to): defective installation, maintenance, or repair; alterations or modifications of the product in a manner not recommended by the Hak Fabrication; or any neglect, misuse or excessive use.
To claim warranty within the warranty period, please contact Hak Fabrications at sales@hakfabrications.com or phone 02 4656 4455. You will need to provide a receipt or other proof of purchase. Additional information may be required to process your claim. Any expenses relating to the return of your product to workshop will normally have to be paid by you.
Returns, Refunds & Exchange

When a refund is required (please also refer to our Returns policy), it will be processed via the payment method used when placing the order. Refunds are generally processed within 3 of approval. Some payment options such as Afterpay can take up to a week to appear back into your account.

All special orders, or custom made products, are non-refundable or exchangeable.
Prices
The prices throughout this site include GST (customers outside Australia excluded). So you can be confident of price stability. At Hak Fabrications, we make every endeavour to maintain prices on our website. However, factors beyond our control (such as changes in foreign currency exchange rates, changes in base material costs, etc.) may vary costs and we reserve the right to amend prices accordingly. We reserve the right to amend or cancel any promotion at any time, without notice.
Stock Availability
Items on our website are generally held in stock. While we aim to provide accurate stock information at all times, on occasion quantities can be incorrect. When an item listed as in stock cannot be shipped, we will call or email you to be as quick as we can to resolve.
Pre-orders
Some items may be offered for pre-order prior to release date. While we aim to keep estimated arrival dates as current as possible, these are estimates and as such are subject to change. We will contact customers with pre-orders whenever there is a date change. Most products available for pre-order require payment in full. Orders are non-refundable unless arrival dates are changed and cancellation is requested within 72 hours of date change.
Cancellation & Change of Mind
Customers are welcome to cancel any unshipped orders at any time. Please note, as we dispatch orders very quickly, we may not process email requests in time.
Please note: Custom made products and special order products cannot be cancelled once the manufacturing process has commenced, or returned unless faulty or damaged. All special orders, or custom made products, are non-refundable or exchangeable.
In the event that you receive the products as stated, but that you simply change your mind, we may, at our discretion, offer you a refund or exchange. Once the item is shipped, the order cannot be cancelled.
Customer Service Emails
When we require further information from you relating to your order, we will contact you via email. This can happen if we receive an incorrect delivery address, conflicting orders or for any reasons as noted above. If a response is required and is not received within 24 hours we may cancel your order. We will then attempt to contact you via phone. If an order is cancelled you will be refunded and notified accordingly.
